What does Ne Me Quitte Pas mean?

Another very famous French song would be NE ME QUITTE PAS. It’s a song from Jacques Brel, a Belgian singer, and it’s a classic of French-speaking music.

You might have heard Nina Simone’s version, or Frank Sinatra with If You Go Away, an adaptation of it in English.

It was also translated in a bunch of different languages – including Arabic, Finnish, Hebrew, Japanese…

This song, much like La Vie En Rose, has been sung around the world.

And in this video, we’re going to listen to the original version of the song, and translate the lyrics as we do so.

C’est parti.
