9 French YouTube Stars 🇫🇷 + PDF of great French youtube channels
To get your ears accustomed to French, you need to listen to as much French as you can.
Â
And it’s indeed, way easier to do if you know where to go for your dose of real spoken French.
Â
I say, real, because if you only listen to videos made for learners, you’re going to find yourself short when it comes to speaking with natives.
Â
But then, you also need to select ressources you actually want to watch. And what better place to look for it than YouTube?Â
Â
But who are the best French vloggers? pranksters? celebrities? influencers?
Â
Well, I’ve prepared for you a list of great French YouTubers (it contains my favorite French Youtube Channels), which you can download by joining the French Club (leave your email down below).
With 10 Millions subscribers, Norman is one of the most followed French YouTubers.
Â
And it’s for good reason, as his videos are fun, and full of French wit.
Â
Each new video is a new topic, and to this day, I haven’t found one of this vlogs not funny.
Â
He’s not uploading as consistently as before. But his new videos are ALWAYS good quality.Â
Â
Just pick any of his videos really
Â
Also, if my memory is correct, he was the first French YouTuber to make it BIG. And he’s not one (if not THE) most influential of them all.
EnjoyPhoenix
Marie of her real name (yeees, another one…), is the first French beauty YouTuber.
Â
She is uploading a lot of makeup tutorials, challenges,…
Â
Nowadays, she’s into vlogging, and follows about every YouTube challenge. You’ll find plenty of English words in her titles.Â
Â
She also collaborate with other beauty YouTubers, so it’s a good gateway towards over channels.
Â
I’d consider her the first female French YouTube celebrity. Her following is huge and she can gather crowd quite easily.Â
Â
She is the number one influencer on YouTube when it comes to product. And I recommend you check out her Instagram as well.
Cyprien
Cyprien is one of the most active famous French YouTubers, he has several channels, some in collaboration with other super famous.
Each time he’s uploading it goes viral in a matter of hours.
Cyprien is tackling a wide range of subjects in his videos, from languages to stories.
He’s quite the person to follow if you want to understand French humour and get a glimpse into French culture.
He’s really famous in France, even with older people, as he’s appeared on TV a few times.
Bonus – his videos have French and English subtitles
Olivier Roland
Can’t be all funny videos, can it? We also have more serious popular YouTubers
 Â
But bref, Olivier Roland is talking about business and self employment.
Â
In fact, for the little story, he was a great inspiration for me Without Olivier Roland, there wouldn’t have been Just French It.
Â
You know the business gurus of YouTube? Well Olivier Rolands is one of the only French ones. And his followers are very loyal.
Â
You can also follow him on other social media, as he’s quite active. His following is not huge, but then the topic he talks about are less popular.
Natoo
Natoo is also into humour. And her favourite thing to do really is to twist the rules of good conduct.
Â
FIY, it’s one of the bases of French humour
Â
As a French learners, it’s a must watch for current expressions and trendy (but smart) vocabulary.
Â
She also often collaborate with other YouTube celebrities.
Tibo InShape
You’d rather watch something physical? I’ll prescribe Tibo InShape.
Â
He’s the number 1 Fitness YouTube channel in France.
Â
And well, yeah. Muscles, exercices, physical challenges,…Â
Â
Tibo is also a funny, sympathic guy. And his talent for sport is quite impressive.
Squeezie
No, it’s not about fitness. Originally, Squeezie is a gamer. But now, it’s more about funny challenges and silly videos.
Â
I consider him to be the French Pewdiedie: gaming, pranks, silly funny videos, weird titles,…
Â
He has a huge following.
Â
He’s quite a funny little thing. And he’s a great friend of Cyprien. They even have a channel together: Coquillages et Birgorneaux.
Â
You’ll often see plenty of other YouTubers running along with him.Â
Little Gypsy
Fancy a bit of travel? Try LittleGypsy. She’s witty, she’s funny, and she travels around A LOT.
Â
If you want to travel in style, try it. I’m sure you’ll loooove it.
Â
Make sure to follow her on Instagram as well. And of course, she’s a blogger as well.
Â
I was actually surprised by the number of French travel channels on YouTube, and the quality of the vlogging of most of them.Â
Â
Btw, this particular video is about my home region. Check it out, the filming is superb!
Et tout le monde s'en fout
It’s my personal all time favourite. But it might be better to reserve this one for more advanced learners.
Â
We’re talking philosophy, psychology, and other nice complex topics.
Â
And it’s a channel that is growing FAST.
Â
Good channel to hear some alternative ‘insults’ and the French sarcasm.Â
Â
Also, but maybe it’s just me, I find the character is very REAL. If you have talked with French natives, you probably have spotted it, most of us like to debate. Especially when it comes to philosophical subject.
Â
In that way, this channel will prepare you for those debates 😘Â
Well, that’s it! Those are the most popular YouTube channels is different topics. I hope you found your pick.
Â
No, they are not necessarily the biggest channels (in terms of subs) in France, but they definitely are the most influentials. It’s safe to assume that (most) of those YouTubers found fame via their online videos.
Â
If you didn’t, download the list. With great French YouTube channels, you’ll definitely find something you’ll like watching.Â
